Westside Team Fundraiser: Message from Julia Etzkorn

Dear Westside Wave Families,

First and foremost, thank you for your continued support of the Westside Wave swim team. We truly appreciate the time, energy, and commitment each family gives to help make this season a great experience for our swimmers.

This season, we will be running a fundraiser to help raise money for important team needs, including lane lines, timing systems, and starting blocks. These items are a big part of helping our swimmers train, compete, and have the best experience possible throughout the season.

Our swimmers will be selling popcorn and soft baked cookies. For anyone who does not wish to purchase products, there will also be an option to make a donation directly to support the program.

Each swimmer will be asked to reach out to family, friends, neighbors, and supporters to help make this fundraiser a success. Every sale and donation makes a difference and helps provide the equipment and resources our teams need. For the parent meeting on Tuesday, May 26, @ 6:45pm, we will have a representative with Leading Edge Fundraising present to discuss and officially launch the fundraiser. This fundraiser will be extremely short (ending by 6/14), so that we can hopefully acquire the items we need, so it is imperative that you come to the meeting and are prepared. This will be super simple...I promise, or I wouldn't do it! If you could all come to the meeting with at least 20 contacts (names and phone numbers) of people who may be interested in helping our kids, we will be able to get you started immediately at the meeting! This could be grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbors, friends, etc.. Keep in mind, even if people do not want to purchase items, they can also just make a donation to the team via the fundraiser. If you are absolutely not able to make it to the meeting for some reason, please text me at (419) 236-2816, and I will get you the information that you need to get started!

Thank you again for your support, generosity, and belief in the Westside Wave swim teams. We are excited for a great season and appreciate everyone helping us reach our goals. Julia Etzkorn
